Exclusively pumping is not easy. It's a roller coaster of emotions and requires a lot of time and dedication to pumping and hand massaging. It's time away from baby, family, and events. Every body is different and whatever amount you produce is already amazing. This is my now and before. I am currently 16 months postpartum and will produce 6 oz every 4 hours and I skip my motn pump. I used to pump every 2 to 3 and would get the second picture of milk (about 8 oz.) I have donated over 10000 oz of milk and am still proud of the amount my body still produces.
What I did? I ate everything, drank a lot of water, and would massage my breasts as I pumped to empty fully.
